Product Features

Defining characteristics of Champagne Color Cutting Vinyl.

  •  Proprietary Pigment Blend: Achieves the unique champagne hue through a mixture of gold, rose, and silver metallic pigments.
  •  Gloss Surface Clarity: High-clarity gloss overlay provides depth to the metallic color and facilitates easy cleaning.
  •  Balanced Stiffness: The calendered film offers enough rigidity for clean handling and weeding, yet sufficient flexibility for application on flat and simple curved surfaces.
  •  Opaque Backing: Prevents the underlying surface color from influencing the final appearance of the champagne finish.
  •  Stable Adhesive: The acrylic adhesive provides immediate grab and develops a strong permanent bond without oozing or bleeding at edges.
  •  Clean Release Liner: High-quality silicone-coated liner ensures easy removal and minimizes static during weeding.
  •  Wide Compatibility: Adheres well to most rigid, smooth substrates including plastics, metals, glass, and painted surfaces.

 Processing & Finishing Advice

Lighting Consideration

View the color under the intended final lighting. Cool white LEDs may make it appear more silver, while warm lighting enhances its rose-gold tones.

Application on Plastics

Test adhesion on plastic substrates like polypropylene or polyethylene. Some plastics may require surface priming for a permanent bond.

Outdoor Use Consideration

For exterior applications, a UV-protective overlaminate is strongly recommended to extend the color life beyond two years.

Cleaning Precautions

Avoid ammonia-based glass cleaners or abrasive pads, as they may dull the gloss finish over time. Use a mild detergent solution instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about Champagne Color Cutting Vinyl.

Is Champagne vinyl the same as Rose Gold?

They are similar but not identical. Rose Gold typically has a stronger pink/rose tone. Champagne is a more balanced blend with hints of gold, silver, and rose, resulting in a softer, warmer neutral metallic.

Can it be used for wedding decor and signage?

Yes, it is a popular choice for elegant wedding signage, table numbers, monograms, and decorative accents due to its sophisticated and celebratory tone.

How does it compare to Silver vinyl in terms of reflectivity?

Champagne vinyl has a lower reflectivity than bright silver vinyl. It offers a softer, more diffuse glow rather than a mirror-like shine.

Is the color heat-resistant? Can it be used near light fixtures?

It resists temperatures up to 140°F (60°C). For use on or very near high-temperature light fixtures (like halogen), a specific heat-resistant vinyl should be considered.

Does it come in a matte or brushed finish?

The standard offering is a gloss finish. Brushed or matte champagne finishes are specialty products and may need to be sourced separately.
